Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Use In Time processes your data and the choices available to you. Private records and Apple subscription purchases do not require registration. AI processing and optional product analytics have separate controls; AI processing requires your explicit permission.

Data we collect

We process data according to the features you use: - Optional account data: your email, display name, optional avatar and sign-in session. Apple, Google and email sign-in use the OneAuth identity service. - Purchase data: verified Apple transactions, product and original transaction identifiers, subscription expiry and app account identifiers used to associate entitlements. We do not process card numbers. Guest purchases can use a service identity without personal profile data; you can choose to associate entitlements when signing in. - AI data: item names, existing categories and images you choose for analysis; image enhancement uses the selected photo. Receipts or order screenshots may contain personal details; crop them before sending if needed. Services record task identifiers, models, status and prompt hashes used for deduplication. Analysis results support review and record creation. - Shared-list data: item names, dates, quantities, optional prices, notes and photos you explicitly share. Private lists stay on your device; selected inputs are transmitted when you use AI, even for a private list. - Optional product analytics: disabled by default on iOS. When you enable it, CF Plausible processes app version, OS/device category, screens, product events, a random installation identifier and a session identifier. The service stores their hashes to distinguish installations and sessions, along with country and region estimated from the network address. We do not send account emails, raw account IDs, item contents or advertising identifiers. Optional web analytics and attribution follow the cookie consent controls.

How we use this data

We use this data to verify purchases and provide subscription benefits, perform AI processing you permit, synchronize lists you choose to share with their members, protect optional accounts, provide support and meet legal obligations. Optional product analytics helps us understand feature use and improve the product.

Third-party processors

Processors receive data needed for the features you use: - Apple: in-app purchases, subscriptions and Apple sign-in authorization. - OneAuth and your chosen Apple or Google provider: optional sign-in and identity verification. - AIAPI Center: AI inputs you permit us to send. Item and receipt analysis is sent through AIAPI Center to Aliyun Bailian. Cover photos are sent through AIAPI Center to APIMart for processing with gpt-image-2; this image route is restricted to APIMart. - CF Plausible: native optional product analytics you explicitly enable. - Cloudflare: hosting, databases, shared photo storage and network services. - Resend: configured transactional email delivery.

Cookies and local storage

Sign-in sessions and language preferences support essential account and display functions. iOS device storage holds preferences, private lists, AI consent and optional analytics settings; sign-in and guest-service credentials use the system Keychain. You can disable usage analytics or withdraw AI permission in Settings. Withdrawal stops new AI transmissions but does not delete previously sent data. Optional web cookies, attribution and analytics are enabled only after consent.

Data retention

You manage private records on your device and can delete or export them. Account and shared data are kept as needed for the service; account deletion removes or de-identifies associated data and revokes relevant sessions. Financial and entitlement ledgers are retained as required for refunds, reconciliation and prevention of duplicate grants. AI tasks, results and third-party processed data follow their respective retention and deletion rules. We do not promise unverified immediate deletion or zero retention by third parties. Optional analytics uses a limited rolling retention window.

Your rights

Depending on your location, including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can download a self-service export of your data or delete your account directly below; contact support@useintime.app for any other request.
